Here is a brief texture breakdown for the Mob Boss character that I had a great time painting on Men in Black International many many moons ago.
The process for developing the final look of the skin pores and details started with me laying down a clean pass of pores and fine wrinkles based on TexturingXYZ maps and then handing those off to Felix to use as a road map to sculpt in the secondary forms and accent some of the tertiary details in order to blend together my work and his primary form sculpting.
Then i proceeded to paint several isolation masks as well as many other support maps in order for lookdev to have full control on dialing in the final skin material.
